Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy involves a series of shockwave pulses which generates sound waves by an air compressor that are applied to the injured area.

Shockwave Therapy helps regenerate new tissue and facilitates healing by:

  • Improving local blood flow

  • Stimulations of fibroblasts to increase collagen production

  • Reduction of local muscle tension trigger points

  • Breakdown of calcium deposits

The current research shows that Shockwave therapy has high success rates of up to 70-80%.
